ESU 10 Leadership Network & New Principal Cohort Participants 2024-2025

ESU 10 Leadership Network & New Principal Cohort Participants 2024-2025

The ESU 10 Teaching and Learning Leadership Team kicked off the fourth year of our Leadership Network on August 27-28. Teaching and Learning Coordinator, Kelly Simmons, has taken the lead in planning and facilitating the 2024-2025 Leadership Network. Our Teaching and Learning Team partnered with professional development staff from ESU 7 to facilitate our two-day training equipping principals with the knowledge and skills needed to implement leadership learning walks in their buildings. We have three new leadership triads this year. ESU 10 staff is excited to partner with building leaders to assist them in analyzing, identifying, and taking action on their problem of practice.

Under the direction of Teaching and Learning Coordinator, Heather Stukey, our T&L Leadership Team has developed a New Principal Cohort for the 2024-2025 school year. We have nine ESU 10 and one ESU 11 principal participating in the cohort this year. These principals are in their first three years of the principalship and are paired with an ESU 10 Leadership Team member for ongoing support throughout the school year. Our leadership team looks forward to supporting these new principals through regional principal meetings at ESU 10, online Zoom sessions, and consultation in their buildings.
