My name is Shanna Gannon, and I joined ESU 10 at the beginning of July as a Teaching and Learning Coordinator. I grew up in Callaway, NE, and completed my undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I received my Master’s Degree in School Principalship PK-8 from UNK, and my Doctorate in Educational Administration from UNL.
My previous work experience includes:
● Teaching Fourth Grade
● Elementary Principal
● Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Learning
● Superintendent
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ryan, and our four children. My husband owns the AgVenture Heartland Seed business in Wood River, NE. Our daughter Lizzy teaches 5th-grade English Language Arts in Seward. Our son Grant is finishing Chiropractic School in Kansas City. Our son Ben has a Custom Kitchen Business in Kansas City. Our youngest son, Riley, is a sophomore at Hastings College, where he is studying finance and playing basketball.
I am passionate about my professional development as well as supporting others with their learning. I am so excited to be part of the ESU team!
