Meet Taylor Shepard New Teaching & Learning Coordinator

My name is Taylor Shepard, and I joined ESU 10 as part of the Teaching and Learning Department in July. I grew up in Lincoln, NE and earned my undergraduate degree from Midland University. I later received my Master’s Degree in 7-12 School Administration from Wayne State College.

My career in education has taken me through a variety of roles, including being a math teacher, head coach for basketball and volleyball, and most recently as an instructional coach. I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with educators across grade levels through PLC implementation and by serving on various teams. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of collaboration, continuous reflection, and empowering educators to grow in their practice.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, watching basketball, and spending time with family and friends. I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential and am energized by opportunities to learn alongside the educators I support. I’m excited to join the ESU 10 team!
