Welcome Theresa Ritta-Olson, Teaching and Learning Coordinator I graduated from Central City High School in 1998. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from UNK in 2002 with endorsements in English as a Second Language K-12, and Spanish 7-12. I later went on to get my Masters in Reading K-12 in 2007. I received my first teaching job in February 2003 in Crete where I taught English Language Learners. I continued to teach there until May 2004. I was lucky enough to get hired at Lexington High School for the following school year. During my twelve years at LHS, I taught ELL and Reading.

My husband, Brad Olson, and I live in Kearney and have been married for ten years. Brad is a graphic designer and owns his own printing business. In his free time he enjoys fantasy football, NASCAR, and bowling. We have an 8-year-old son named Riley. He will be a second grader at Central Elementary this year. Riley keeps us busy. He enjoys martial arts, swimming, flag football, and above all video games. As for me, I enjoy walking my dog, yoga, reading, and watching TV.

While I will sincerely miss my students and colleagues at Lexington High School, I am looking forward to the new experiences and challenges as I transition into my role as a Teaching and Learning Coordinator.
