Description:
This presentation will provide an overview of the characteristics, learning styles and effective supports for individuals with high functioning autism. Specific supports and strategies will be reviewed to effectively support students with high functioning autism in a variety of settings.

Learning Objectives:
      ?Gain an awareness of the characteristics and differences specific to individuals with high functioning autism
      ?Understand ways to support individuals with ASD to increase their success in the general, special education,          vocational, home and community environments
      ?Gain an understanding of various technology tools that can support individuals with ASD
