Our purpose is to provide expertise, leadership, and support to all stakeholders in order to continuously improve teaching and learning.

The Teaching and Learning Department at Educational Service Unit 10 consists of fourteen staff members dedicated to improving both educator and student learning.Teaching and Learning team members plan and coordinate learning opportunities at ESU 10 or on site at schools in order to train school district personnel and develop the competencies of support staff, teachers and administrators with the ultimate result of higher student achievement.

These learning opportunities target the areas of school improvement, curriculum, instruction, assessment, student safety and behavior, technology integration, student engagement and specialized areas such as high ability learners and working with students living in poverty. In addition, the Teaching and Learning Department offers trainings facilitated by nationally recognized presenters and respected experts in a variety of educational fields.
