This interactive workshop is
designed to support preschool teachers in deepening their understanding of what
makes a high-quality early childhood curriculum.
Participants will explore the NAEYC
Key Indicators of Effective Curriculum and learn how to align their current
teaching practices with both NAEYC standards and the Nebraska Early Learning
Guidelines.
Through collaborative
discussions, hands-on activities, and reflective exercises, teachers will:
* Analyze
and reflect on their current curriculum practices
* Identify
areas of strength and opportunities for growth
* Explore
examples of developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning
materials
* Engage
in collaborative lesson planning with peers to design intentional,
standards-aligned learning experiences
Whether you're a seasoned
teacher or newer to the field, this session will offer practical tools,
shared insights, and a supportive space to strengthen your curriculum
planning and classroom practice.
