Workshop held at ESU 11 in Holdrege
This engaging, hands-on workshop is designed to help social studies educators strengthen civic learning in their classrooms—without getting lost in political controversy. Educators will discover how to seamlessly weave civic competencies into their existing curriculum and explore practical, ready-to-use strategies that encourage students to think critically, participate thoughtfully, and become informed, active citizens. The session will be facilitated by Lori Broady from the Nebraska State Bar, bringing valuable expertise and real-world insights to the day’s learning.
