Through this interactive training, teachers will review the writing process to teach students how to respond to an opinion or argument prompt. Participants will receive templates for students to use for planning and drafting opinion/argumentative responses. Teachers will learn best practices in guiding students in how to identify a topic or lens of inquiry, form an opinion/argument, and provide reasons for their opinion/argument.
