Nebraska Department of Education presents: 
School Secretary Safety Training
    Keeping the Gate Keepers Safe

 This is a 1-day training offered on two consecutive days (each person attends only one day)
      1st day half of secretaries from a school attend
      2nd day other half of secretaries from a school attend
    
    Training will cover:

  • Being a responsible gate keeper
  • Your responsibility in the Standard Response Protocol
  • Your capabilities under stress
  • How relating to students can keep you safe
  • Visitor protocols
  • How to stay safe in the front office
  • Your role in reunification
  • How to know the people you are letting in the building are safe
  • How to stay safe in the midst of a crisis

**Our current intention is to provide lunch for meeting participants.  As this date draws closer we will be in contact with our public health department about guidelines and providing refreshments.
