This class will present specific classroom strategies for managing classroom behavior in proactive and positive ways.  The focus is on vision, organization, management plan, teaching expectations, conducting the first four weeks of school, observing student behavior, motivation, class-wide motivational systems, and correcting.  Participants will engage in a series of tasks or competencies and will be required to conduct some self-assessment and peer discussion activities regarding these competencies.  The participants will be required to design implementation strategies that will fit in their teaching situation.
