Energy Smart K-12 -- Teaching Energy Efficiency

Learn to use the Energy Star Portfolio Manager, to track energy and water use in your school.
The Nebraska Energy Office is funding training on EPA's bench-marking tool to middle and high school teachers. The training will give you a starting point to find operational savings in your school and provide STEM curriculum opportunities for your students.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and the Nebraska Department of Education are developing curriculum incorporating the energy bench-marking tool into classroom exercises and projects, aligned with the new state science standards and offering experienced based learning for students.
Hands on training provided by UNO will be provided at several ESU locations.

All sessions will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm
