Managed Services  

Network Information Services at ESU 10 provides schools across Nebraska with a variety of technical support services provided through our various support agreements. While some support is provided in response to requests and issues, managed services are turn-key solutions and are proactively provided after discussion and agreement with the technical contacts within the district. 

Some of the managed services include:

E-Rate
  • Initiating information requests for key district contacts
  • Obtaining required access and permission forms
  • Filing application forms up to final signatures and certifications
  • Checking filing status and notification of progress on applications
  • Responding to issues and questions from the E-rate filing process

Network Support
  • Configuration backups and firmware updates for firewalls, switches, and wireless controllers
  • OS updates for file and application servers

  • Off-site Disaster Recovery
    • Installing and updating the managed backup application
    • Configuring and monitoring scheduled backup plans for identified data

    Web Content Filtering
    • Appliance firmware updates and system backups

  • Proactive monitoring of critical devices, interface and services

  • Site backups and regular security updates
