Technology Services  

Educational Service Unit 10 provides technology services to our member districts to help support their network infrastructure, business operations and classroom use of technology. 

ESU 10 delivers Internet access to 30,000 staff and students in central Nebraska. These support services are maintained through a team of network and system administrators and all schools in the ESU 10 area are offered some technical infrastructure and services including:

  • Account hosting, management and directory services
  • Single sign-on and identity management with integration to any directory service
  • Domain name service hosting, configuration and maintenance
  • IP Address allocation and IP routing services
  • Internet Access and circuit level monitoring
  • ODIE suite of web applications – Helpdesk & equipment repair tickets, Library items, Asset tracking and Workshop registration
  • Remote or on-site support for technology infrastructure

Other technical support and services are available for additional fees including:

  • Web content filtering and reporting (each school can manage their own policies and rules to meet federal laws for child safety on the Internet)
  • Student Information System support (PowerSchool training and remote assistance throughout the school year)
  • Off-site Backup hosting (protection for critical files against the threat of a local disaster)
  • Web site hosting using Drupal or WordPress content management systems
  • Document Management services using Laserfiche applications
  • Off-site Disaster Recovery Backup service
  • Network and system monitoring using PRTG monitoring software
