This will be my 7th year working in the field, and feel honored to be able to join the team here so we could move closer to family. I attended UNK for both my undergrad and graduate degrees, and grew up in the Kearney area -- #Go Lex! I’ve spent the last few years working in the KC metro with various school districts. After anticipating the arrival of our newest edition this last May, we began looking for opportunities to move closer to family. My husband, and our two boys, and I are all enjoying the genuine comradery of the Nebraska lifestyle. It feels great to be back in the Good Life and share it with our children. Professional passions that really get me locked in for deep conversation and problem solving are legal and ethical issues of special education, and positive school climate strategies. Because of the vested interested and reputation of ESU 10 to set a standard for so many districts in the area on best practices, I feel very blessed to join a family with similar professional passions that serve to meet the global needs of our youth and children.
