Meet Jamie Lewis, New ESU 10 Occupational Therapist

October 02, 2014
I received my Master’s degree from Washington University, School of Medicine, Program in Occupational Therapy, St. Louis (1998).  I have seventeen years of clinical experience in pediatrics in various settings including pediatric clinics and the natural contexts of early intervention, preschools and school settings.  My experience is with diverse populations including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, blind and visual impairment, traumatic brain injury, and learning disabilities.

I have served professionally on occupational therapy leadership teams, as an autism team member for the central region of Nebraska for several years, on the Nebraska State Autism Spectrum Disorder Board, on a regional Traumatic Brain Injury team, and Nebraska State Traumatic Brain Injury advisory board.

I am currently working on my certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders through the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

My husband, Matt and I enjoy spending time with our two children, Sam (8 years old) and Betsey (11 years old).  In my spare time I also enjoy golfing, gardening and traveling.
