Prior coming to ESU 10, I taught second grade at Emerson Elementary for Kearney Public Schools. I also have experience teaching Kindergarten and Elementary Special Education. I will cherish my years in the classroom and continue to build on the knowledge it has given me. I have also had a few other non-teaching employment opportunities that have helped me learn and grow both personally and professionally. I worked as the Student Activities Coordinator at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and I also worked as an assistant buyer at The Buckle Inc. in Kearney. I received my Undergraduate Degree from UNK in Elementary Education, with an Endorsement in Special Education. My Masters Degree, also from UNK, is in Curriculum and Instruction. My husband Bill and I have been married for 13 years and have lived in Kearney that entire time. We both attended Elm Creek High School and agree that central Nebraska is a great place to raise a family! We have two children Ayden (8) and Avery (1), who we adore. We are actively involved in our church and enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, riding motorcycles, photography and spending time as a family. I am thankful for the warm welcome everyone has extended and am excited to learn and grow as part of this great team!
