I received my Bachelors of Science in Education degree from UNK. I have a Middle School teaching certificate with an endorsement in both mathematics and natural science. In 2006, I taught at Central City Public School as a 6-8th grade math teacher. I have spent the last 7 years at Elm Creek Public School teaching 6-9th grade math and science, four of those years I also taught physics and chemistry. My husband, Matt, and I live in Bertrand Nebraska. Matt works for a local farmer and enjoys spending his down time hunting or watching/going to sporting events. I enjoy going to Husker sporting events and coaching my kids sports. During my free moments I love to get lost in a good book. We have two kids, Macie and Marshall. Macie is 11 and enjoys playing softball, basketball, and volleyball, as well as, giggling with her friends. Marshall recently turned 7 and likes spending his time riding bikes with his friends or going to work with his dad. I loved my time at Elm Creek and will greatly miss the staff and the students. But I am extremely excited about this transition and welcome the new challenges.
