Digital Citizenship Week

October 25, 2013
In support of Digital Citizenship week and Connected Educator month, Grand Island Northwest, Gibbon, Wood River and Cozad schools, all part of ESU 10, are collaborating this week by offering the following activities at their schools. Students and staff were encouraged to participate in the activities to model and promote positive digital citizenship in their schools and communities. Daily drawings for iTunes cards were held for those who submitted entries.
Monday: Movie Monday:  Short video centered around Digital Citizenship
Tuesday: Twitter Tuesday: Check your school Twitter page out and send a tweet with your favorite app in education.
Wednesday: Wordy Wednesday: Create a visual image using an app like pic collage or word collage of words and phrases associated with Digital Citizenship.
Thursday: TBT (Throw Back Thursday): Watch Twitter and Facebook pages for TBT pictures.  The first person to recognize and comment or retweet will be entered in the daily drawing. Watch for pictures throughout the day.
Friday: Digital Footprints Friday: We all have a Digital Footprint, take a moment and Google search your name. Screenshot your results and email them to your school Tech Integration Specialist.
