New to ESU 10 is Roxanne Vipond, Early Learning Connection Coordinator

September 30, 2011
I am the new Early Learning Connection Coordinator. I will be providing/ coordinating education in early childhood within the central region of the state through the Early Childhood Training Center, Dept. of Education.

I am married, have four children and live in Grand Island. Two of my children have special needs -- one with a hearing impairment and one with Asperger Syndrome, so I am very familiar with special education! I facilitate the Autism Parent Support Group in Grand Island and have been on the Central Region Autism Spectrum Disorders Team (CRASDT) here at ESU 10 for over six years as a parent representative. I have great respect for the professionals who work on the CRASDT Team. It's a great resource to teachers, families and individuals on
the autism spectrum.

I am very excited about working with the professionals here and being a part of ESU 10!
