Atomic Learning News

November 29, 2011

Atomic Learning has added many new online workshops. These workshops are highlighted in a new feature called Spotlight, which is visible on the Atomic Learning homepage. Among the newest workshops are Engaging with Interactive Whiteboards, Collaborating with a Global Community, Creating Engaging Presentations, and Video Storytelling in the Classroom. These workshops are excellent and can be done individually, as a PLN (Professional Learning Network), or as part of a staff in-service. If you need more ideas on other uses, email Graci Gillming or call 308-865-5664 x-229.

New Atomic Learning tutorials include Moodle 2.0 Teacher edition, iPad Training, Office 2011 for the Mac, Advanced PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign Advanced and Acrobat Pro X for Windows. There are also a couple of new projects for students: Connecting with Others using Google - Project, and Tour My School.

Congratulations to the top five schools showing the most activity on Atomic Learning: Cozad, Overton, Wood River, Loup City and Pleasanton. The top 5 individual users are Ravenna Student, Cozad Student, Pleasanton, Gibbon student, and Ansley student. The majority of ESU 10 schools are using Atomic Learning, the online staff development resource for using technology in the classroom.
