Financial Office Associate - Teaching and Learning Department  

Full Time financial office associate position providing office support through a variety of tasks primarily focused on finance and federal grants. High school diploma, previous clerical experience and finance experience required. Must be able to adapt to change and work independently in a friendly, service-oriented office. Excellent communication, organizational and people skills required. Competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Essential Functions of Position:
1.  Perform clerical duties as required
       •  Performs accurate typing, data entry and computer skills
       •  Uses effective written and oral communication skills
       •  Demonstrates strong organizational skills
       •  Demonstrates sound decision-making skills
       •  Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationship skills with co-workers,
           other departments and the public
       •  Utilizes ESU 10, state and federal business and reporting systems
2.  Assist with grant applications and processes financial claims
       •  Prepares and processes contracts for presenters and service providers
       •  Maintains financial records
       •  Processes mileage and expenditure reimbursement claims
       •  Prepares accounts payable and accounts receivable source documents
3.  Demonstrates proficiency utilizing ODIE & maintaining records
       •  Maintains accurate inventory records
       •  Generates accounts receivable billings
4.  Specific departmental duties/projects
5.  Orders business equipment, general supplies and workshop materials
6.  Assists with budget preparations
7.  Adhere to regular and dependable attendance
8.  Other duties as assigned
