Network Administrator  

Educational Service Unit 10 is seeking a Network Administrator to join our technical support team serving area school districts.  A degree from an accredited college or university and/or six years of experience is desired.  Experience in an educational environment is preferred.

Major responsibilities will include:
•  Managing and optimizing wired and wireless networks
•  Preforming network design, capacity planning, improvements and upgrades or repairs
•  Monitoring and testing network performance
•  Reviewing and implementing best practices for network and system security

Special Knowledge or Skills:
•  High degree of professionalism including strong communication skills
•  Ability to work independently and as a team member in a support team environment
•  Ability to communicate effectively with end users including ESU staff, school district staff and administrators
•  Ability to learn quickly and provide input to projects as needed
•  Knowledge and experience with network devices and security appliances in local and wide-area networks
•  Ability to work with telecommunication provides to troubleshoot and solve issues
