Data Coordinator  

ESU 10 seeks to fill this position with a person who has a blend or combination of the following qualifications, special knowledge and skills.



·         Master’s Degree (preferred)

·         Current Nebraska certification (teaching or administrative)

·         Five years regular education classroom teaching plus leadership roles

·         Expertise in data analysis, curriculum, instruction, assessment, continuous improvement

·         High degree of professionalism including strong communication and public relations skills

·         Ability to establish rapport and work in collaboration with school district and ESU personnel

·         Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision

·         Ability to use technology for effective collaboration and communication

·         Strong organizational and planning skills

·         Ability and willingness to work independently and as a team member


Major Responsibilities

·       Understand and comply with the ESU 10 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.

·       Work with the Teaching and Learning Director to design and implement custom data collection and analysis projects for purposes of research and program evaluation.

·       Collaborate with all relevant parties on research and evaluation projects.

·       Contribute to the development and implementation of district service plans.

·       Support the identification, development, delivery and evaluation of regional professional learning programming.

·       Provide service to member schools with various data types (e.g., demographic data, perception data, student achievement data, teacher/principal evaluation data), analysis, presentations and application.

·       Provide service to member schools in the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment development, continuous improvement and coaching models.

·       Attend meetings and matters related to relevant ESUPDO Affiliates, NDE and any other as named or approved by the Director.

·       Attend and contribute to Teaching and Learning Department meetings; provide input to the Unit Improvement Team and ESU 10 departments.

·       Maintain current knowledge and awareness of resources related to work scope outlined.

·       Dependable and reliable attendance  


Terms of Employment

·         261 day annual employment with full-time benefits

·        Salary based on education and experience

      3.  New Coordinator Begins:  July 1, 2019
