DescriptionInvention Convention Purpose:  
Invention Convention (Grades 1-8) provides a forum for schools across the region to showcase their students’ best inventions while providing the students with an opportunity to find out about real inventions and fantasy inventions, real inventors, and the inventive process.  Students will use both their creative and critical thinking skills to develop an invention.

January 2017 - April 2017:  Classroom Activities on Inventiveness.  Visit for resources.

March 1 2017:  Registration Deadline - notify us of your intent to participate in the ESU 10 Invention Convention by registering on ODIE.
Total number of student registrations is dependent upon ESU 10 space availability
Maximum of 10 inventions per school district

April 7, 2017:  Student Invention Registration Deadline - register student inventions on ESU 10’s student activities page (directions will be sent after we receive your intent to participate)
