Training Series Outcome:
- To support district and school leadership in the initial work of creating Systems of Reflective Practice within their buildings.
- To provide guidance, strategies, and instructional leadership to the system’s instructional leaders in order to build their teacher’s capacity for success.
- To build the capacity of all teachers through the development of reflective practice.
Day 2: October
28, 2016
- Deeply investigate Fundamentals I-IV
- Discuss two key tools: The Reflective Cycle and the Continuum of Self-Reflection
- Examine the leadership perspective to drive this work forward
- Participants establish clear goals and action plans
Day 3: February
28, 2017
- Deeply investigate Fundamentals V-VII
- Delve into the language of transformational feedback
- Strengthen our instructional coaching practices
- Build a network of supportive, interdependent practitioners
- Uncover and collaboratively address lingering problems of practice

Member Schools. This workshop is eligible for contracted services pay and/or
substitute reimbursement for core academic teachers at the rate of $100 per day.
Only core academic teachers, as defined
by NCLB, are eligible for contracted services pay.
Each teacher may earn up to
a maximum of $500 contracted services pay per summer.
Registration deadline is two weeks prior to
workshop unless otherwise noted.
