Participants will:
- Be provided with an introduction into analyzing behaviors and teasing out if they have a sensory base
- Develop a working knowledge of sensory systems
- Learn a common terminology which will allow participants to begin to discuss and understand sensory differences when working with students, teachers, administrators, parents, and other therapists
- Be provided an introduction to a proactive and nonlinear approach to behavior through behavior and sensory intervention principles
- Be provided an introduction to developing self-awareness and self-regulation programs for students on the Autism Spectrum
- Develop an awareness of sound behavioral strategies to help children improve their own behavior
